I have been chipping away at edits to the story and settling in on a visual direction for the book.
After preparing the story and the characters for my picture book, I have produced the final script for the story and added sketches of how I want the illustrations to look. This is giving me insight into how the book will look when it is finished. Now that I am happy with the text and the layout I can focus on producing the final illustrations that make up the book.
I added in that the monster is made of a smoke or fog as to represent that the monster messes with my vision and is all I can focus on.
