The book “Linocut for artists and designers” by Nick Morley just arrived by post and I sat and read it from cover to cover. In the book he details every aspect of the lino print making  process starting from describing the materials and equipment and what it takes to get started as well as going into more advanced techniques and practices.
Alongside buying this book, I also bought some coloured inks for lino printing. Now that I can print in colour, I have opened up a lot of avenues for improvement. I have taken some of my previous lino projects and reprinted them in colour, bringing a whole new life to the pieces. Working with colour is something I have been really excited about for a while as I have only had access to black printing ink.
