I am reasonably happy with where I am with the story. The main story elements are going to remain the same now, there will be some tweaks but nothing that will change it drastically. Its time to shift my attention back to the characters. To start off with I am basing the character of the boy on myself because I have been basing the story around thing I have experienced, plus I always seem to be available whenever I have a job such as modeling to give myself. Eventually my vanity subsided and I decided I wanted the character to be more vague in order to allow the viewer to see them as anyone. I don't know what I am going to call the character but so far he has only gone by "Jay" and "the boy".
Maybe when it comes down to it the characters name could be changed per printing to be the name of the recipient of the book? Something to consider.
